Jenny Burden was our Agent for the selling of our home in Lexington, South Carolina. We met Jenny as a result of interviewing five local real estate agents to discuss potentially selling our home. The presentation and plan proposed by Jenny met our needs and her openness and honesty for what we should do and what we should not do were the deciding factors in our choosing her as our Agent. She was proactive in helping us plan how to proceed with the process of selling a house after she had heard our wants and needs!
She worked with us to bring out the best features of our home and made numerous suggestions of what needed repair, placement, and painting; and then on short notice was able to arrange for painters and a handyman to repair and paint as needed.
The traditional use of "0pen House" showings did not appeal to us, so Jenny proposed a plan where we would leave home for a long weekend. She reached out to other realtors, described our home, and where there was interest by their clients arranged for a showing while we would be gone.
As a result of her planning and efforts we received multiple offers during that time. She then explained the various offers and contingencies, and what they meant and what was good, normal, or unusual, and then guided us through each stage of the sale process.
